The Episcopal Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of Oceania, sponsored the Annual Opening of the Legal Year for 2015 with a Pan-Orthodox Prayer Service held at the St Eustathios Greek Orthodox Church in South Melbourne on Tuesday morning, 3 February 2015. Many notable participants, including clergy and lay, legal professionals from the Inter-Orthodox community, were present to receive and pray with and for the dignitaries from the judiciary, including distinguished Supreme Court justices.

World number 1 men's tennis player Novak Djokovic has once again shown his loyalty and passion towards his fans. On Wednesday, 21st January 2015 after Novak's training session, he made his way over to greet his many fans. Amongst the fans was a young 6 year old boy Stefan Stefanov from Gold Coast, Queensland who had been cheering for Nole along with his brothers Dejan and Ilija Stefanov. The Stefanov brothers are the sons of Fr Nikola and Popadija Natalija Stefanov from the St Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in South Brisbane, Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand.

On Saturday December 20th after Vespers in the Holy Trinity parish in Brunswick a crowd of more than 100 people gathered to listen to the talk of Fr. Arsenije (Jovanovic), who is well-known for his book: "God and Rock 'n' Roll" and who is currently a part of the brotherhood in the Ostrog Monastery in Montenegro. His Grace Bishop Irinej, together with Head Priest Fr. Miroslav Popovic and Fr. Petar Damnjanovic and a large crowd of predominantly young churchgoers heard the first of Fr. Arsenije's talks titled: "Orthodxy in the modern world".
