With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Siluan, work has continued to improve the infrastructure and facilities in the St. Sava Monasteries of our God-saved Metropolitanate
• At St. Sava Monastery in Elaine, through the efforts of the brotherhood led by Abbot Teodor and the hard work of volunteers and benefactors, several guest facilities have been renovated, and a significant portion of the renovation of the Bishop’s residence (the oldest building on the monastery grounds) has been completed.
• At St. Sava New Kalenic the Monastery near Canberra, a comprehensive reconstruction of the stage in the large hall has been organised under the guidance of Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Djuro Djurdjevic, the caretaker.
Through the efforts and dedication of brother Marko Erceg and his company, Beton Group, with the support and work of diligent volunteers, a path was constructed from the main pedestrian path to the toilets, 90 meters long and 1.7 meters wide. All materials and labour were most generously donated to the Monastery.
We express our deep gratitude to all the benefactors and workers who, out of love, continue to contribute their time, effort, and material resources to the restoration and improvement of our Holy monasteries, demonstrating themselves as true heirs of their glorious and holy ancestors!
With profound gratitude and love,
+Metropolitan Siluan, with the Brotherhood of the Monastery of St. Sava in Elaine and the Sisterhood of the Monastery of St. Sava New Kalenic near Canberra.
