On Friday, 13 September 2024, the Feast Day of the Holy Jasenovac New Martyrs was prayerfully celebrated with Divine Hierarchical Liturgy and a Moleben service to the Holy New Martyrs of Jasenovac at St Sava New Kalenic Serbian Orthodox Monastery near Canberra. On this day, the Federation of Circles of Serbian Sisters also celebrated their Slava Day. His Eminence Metropolitan Siluan, with the concelebration of clergy from the Sydney Deanery, officiated over the liturgy and Moleben. His Excellency, Mr Rade Stefanovic, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia was also prayerfully present among the faithful who had gathered at the Monastery to celebrate these Great Martyrs who shed their blood for their Holy Orthodox faith in the extermination death camps of the Nazi Ustasa Independent State of Croatia during WWII.
