FamilyVoice Australia is a national Christian voice – promoting true family values for the benefit of all Australians. We have active branches in each state and a dedicated, enthusiastic team of 15 people.
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled person to lead our team of State Directors around Australia – developing partnerships with Christian churches across the denominational spectrum and presenting a Christian view on family-related current issues to civic leaders, including state and federal parliamentarians.
To fit this role, you will be a committed Christian with a desire to see God's truth shape and enhance Australia's future. You will be a servant-hearted leader and a committed team player, with strong relational, organisational and team building abilities. You will also be an excellent written and verbal communicator, ideally with Bible or theological training.
Your responsibilities will include:
• awareness of current issues related to family, faith and freedom in Australia;
• support, development and leadership of FamilyVoice State Directors in all states;
• advocacy of a Christian view on current issues to MPs and through the media;
• analysis and communication of Christian perspectives on current issues;
• assistance with promotion, fund raising, team building and event organisation.
This full-time position offers great variety, scope for growth and a unique opportunity to help positively shape Australian society for Christ.
