THE FEAST DAY OF THE ENTRANCE OF THE MOST HOLY MOTHER OF GOD

On the 25th Sunday after Pentecost and the Feast Day of the Entrance of the Most Holy Mother of God into the Temple, Hierarchs - Metropolitan Petar and Bishop Siluan, concelebrated Divine Hierarchical Liturgy at the Macedonian Orthodox Church dedicated to the Feast of the Presentation of the Holy Theotokos to the Temple, in Liverpool. 

 

 

Clergy from both sister jurisdictions concelebrated on this occasion. 

 

 

At the end of the Liturgy Metropolitan Petar greeted Bishop Siluan, expressing his joy and gratitude for His Grace’s brotherly visit and love, gifting him with an Engolpion of the Theotokos. Bishop Siluan reciprocated the joy and gratitude for the invitation to serve with His Eminence, reiterating that the healing of the wound of the schism is a tremendous joy for our brotherly people and also a great strength for the mission of the Holy Orthodox Church especially in the diaspora.

 

 

After the Liturgy a luncheon was served for all.
