The Serbian Orthodox Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand, condemns in the strongest possible terms the recent barbarous act of terrorism, which has led to the death and suffering of so many innocent people.
We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of all the victims, and to all the citizens of Christchurch and New Zealand.
Heinous crimes like this, senseless killing of innocent people, can never be justified. Everyone has the right to worship without fear.
Our prayers are with all the grieving families who have suffered the loss of loved ones. We pray for the wellbeing and quick recovery of all those injured.
May God grant us His peace, love and compassion; without which, there can be no true humanity.
