On Saturday the 9th of November, His Eminence Metropolitan Siluan arrived in Auckland for his annual archpastoral visit of the Serbian Orthodox Church communities in New Zealand.
After the cordial greeting and welcome at Auckland airport, Metropolitan Siluan attended the Vespers service at St King Milutin Serbian Orthodox Church in Point Shevalier.
The following day, His Eminence served Divine Hierarchical Liturgy with the concelebration of Parish Priest Protopresbyter Sava Janjic, Protopresbyter Goran Cecez and Protodeacon Petar Mrakic.
During the liturgy Metropolitan Siluan blessed the Slava Bread prepared in honour of the parish’s patron saint St King Milutin. At the end of the liturgy, Metropolitan Siluan greeted all the gathered faithful expressing his joy for the blessing and opportunity to visit them and celebrate Divine Liturgy on the parish’s feast day. After the liturgy, a luncheon was served for all.
